KOBEY'S
SWAP MEET thanks you and your organization for
helping to make our community "America's Finest City". Your
contribution of time, energy and money to improve the quality
of life for others is invaluable to San Diego.
We at Kobey's know that raising funds is always a challenge
for organizations. Kobey's would like to offer a way to
help by donating spaces at the Swap Meet to your organization.
For 15 years, many San Diego non-profit organizations have
taken advantage of this offer by holding a "garage sale" at Kobey's. Members collect used household items, clothing
or knickknacks and sell them at San Diego's best open air
market, attracting over 20,000 shoppers each weekend. New
or hand-crafted items may also be sold or your organization
may have an informational booth. Make it a fun and profitable
day at Kobey's!!
Through our Non-Profit Program, Kobey's will donate two
spaces, two times per year to your organization. In addition
to the spaces, Kobey's will donate the use of a canopy,
tables and chairs, along with five free entry passes (for
helpers working later in the day) and two announcements
on Kobey's Public Address system. To assure maximum success,
Kobey's will meet with your representative and provide the
necessary forms, tips to make your day successful and a
publicity packet to get the word out about your organization's
event at Kobey's.
As space is limited and some dates may not be available, we request four to six weeks notice for reservations. When your organization is ready to set a date, please contact
Kobey's Non-Profit Coordinator at (619) 523-2700 ext. 318,
Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm.
