Through the Kobey Magazine Ad Program vendors can obtain premium space outside of Kobey's normal processes, i.e. the monthly wristband lottery and space auctions.

If the vendor wishes to obtain two or more premium spaces together on a row, the vendor is expected to pay a surcharge on each ticket. The daily surcharge and the vendor's advertisement could be thought of as a daily auction rate charged to the vendor for securing premium tickets outside normal operations.

Tickets that are turned in for credit are only worth the face value of the ticket on a premium row (A-D, K, KX & J) or a main aisle corner by advertising in Kobey's monthly publication, Kobey's Magazine & Directory. Locations are subject to availability.

In addition to the price of each ticket, advertisers who secure selling space on a premium row (A-D, K, KX & J) are required to pay a surcharge of at least $15 per ticket per day. Higher surcharges apply to main aisle corners. All surcharges are non-refundable.

Vendors may pull unwanted selling dates from their monthly packet at point of purchase to avoid losing the surcharge fee(s).

As of January 2001, vendors can secure a monthly location on E & F rows without being obligated to advertise with the exception of aisle corners E12, E13, F12, F13, E33, F33, E36 & F36.

Vendors who secure spaces E33, F33, E36 & F36 and aisle corners in the Back Center Section are not required to pay an extra added ticket surcharge. These tickets are sold at face-value. However, an ad is required to obtain these spaces on a monthly basis.

(The aisle corners in the Back Center Section are defined as the corner spaces located on either side of the Back Gate walk-through aisle, rows K-S.)

ADVERTISING REQUIREMENTS:
Kreative Media advertisers maintain no permanent rights to space locations secured through advertising.

Ticket availability renews or terminates after every six month auction or at the discretion of Kobey's Management.

In order to use the premium tickets stipulated in their contract each month, the vendor must run the minimum requirement ad. No ad, no spaces.

The minimum ad requirement for A - D, K, KX & J rows and main aisle corners is a 5-column inch ad, $90.

The minimum requirement for spaces E33, F33, E36 & F36 and aisle corners in the back center section is a 4-column inch ad, $72.

Kreative Media advertising invoices must be paid at the time of monthly ticket pack purchase. If for some reason an ad is not paid for at the time of ticket purchase, a late charge of $25 will be applied if not paid before the next billing cycle. The late charge will appear on the next month's invoice.

DISCOUNTS:

A Camera-Ready Discount is applied when the vendor submits camera-ready artwork. If Kreative Media creates the ad for the vendor, the discount is applied in the second month of advertising, lowering the price.

Don't forget -- advertising is tax deductable as a business expense.
