Free Admission, Space for the Military in May
For the 18th year, Kobey's Swap Meet supports our local military and personnel by offering free space and shopper admission in May. Look for military organizations promoting their branch of service on main aisles of the swap meet. All active military, retired military and dependents who show their military ID cards will be admitted to Kobey's free of charge any day in May. As always, children 11 & under are free.
If you're a military organization wishing to secure free space, call (619) 523-2700 ext. 0. If you are active D.O.D. or military personnel, Kobey's offers selling and admission discounts throughout the year, available at local MWR ticket offices.

Kobey's Announces Two Summer Internships
Are you a local high school or college student looking for a fun and valuable way to spend your summer? Kobey's Swap Meet is offering two 10-week summer internships: one in Videography & Photography and the second in Social Media Advertising & Marketing. Only one internship will be awarded in each category.
The internships will begin mid-June 2012 and end sometime in September. Students can expect to commit 15 hours of their time per week. Deadline to apply for either internship is May 31, 2012. Selected candidates will be informed by June 11th. Interested candidates please send a letter of interest via email to Anthony Pretto at apretto@kobeys.com.

SHOPPER ADMISSION: Friday 50¢; $1 Sat. & Sun.; Seniors 75¢. Children 11 & under free.

We're sorry. Animals, with the exception of worker dogs for the handicapped, are NOT ALLOWED inside Kobey's Swap Meet. Please leave your pet at home.

Kobey's Gives Back With Free Space
Through our Non-Profit Program, Kobey's Swap Meet donates free space twice a year to certified non-profit groups as well as student and religiousorganizations for fund-raising or promotional purposes. Appointments and 4-6 weeks notice for your event required.
Organizations such as the San Diego Bar Assn., the San Diego Blood Bank, Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer 3 Day, Becky's House, various military organizations, school groups and many others have taken advantage of Kobey's free space offer each year.
